its 3:39am

rushed to the bathroom...
1-2-3
brushed my teeth...

checked nokee.
meron misscall at 3:44 si dolls
OMG!!! baka ako n lang inaantay...
HAZUKASHII desuyo!!!

in a flash.
bihis nko...
said bye bye sa aking nanay at ate
call a trike
in less than 3 min andun nko sa abangan ng taxi
4:15 nksakay n din ako...
a lil while, text si dolls ulit
"text k n lang pag paalis k n po"
GOD!!! ako n lang talaga inaantay

4:32am, tumigil ang taxi s tapat ng alps bus line
122 pesos the meter reads
at syempre, dahil feeling mayaman ang lolo
dinagdagan ang bayad
130 pesos, swerte ng driver talaga!!!

sa terminal, may isang bus n medyo puno na
the sign reads
BATANGAS PIER
CALABARZON
inikot ko ang buong terminal,
wala akong kakilala...
iniwan kaya nila ako?
nakasakay n kaya sila s bus?

i went to 7/11 store to buy load
texted dolls that im in the terminal na
pero pagbalik ko andun n ang mangalus couple
after a lil while dumating si bornats
may hawak n malaking c2...
few minutes later may tumigil na taxi
si ae...
yey!!!
kumpleto na kaming lima.

akyat kami ng bus and took the third row from the driver
unti-unting napuno ang bus
few minutes after half past five, we're moving
i took a shot!!!
i planned to have a shot evry after an hour
on our way to galera,
but i missed one...
nakatulog kc kami.

7:40am nasa pier kmi...
sobrang dami tao
first time namin lahat
siempre excited kami lahat...
may lumapit na mama si VIC
tanong nya san kayo?
sabi namin "GALERA"
and i dont know what happend na
basta we asked him to get a ticket for us
sabi nya, next trip is 9:20 pa
so we took the ticket na leaving ng 9:20
we also had the terminal pass ticket or whatever
basta ung pink one...
we enterd the pier.
had our things scanned
and antay sa seat...

first, dun kami nakaupo s may likod
"ding dong!!! all passengers of (name ng boat)
leaving at (time) please proceed to (gate)"
kala ko kmi na, hndi p pla!!!
nabakante ung seat sa may unahan,
so we took the spot, while munching oreo cookies

but wait!!!
the cam's battery is half-charged...
i searched my things for the charger
unluckily, i left it...
grrrrrrrrrr!!!

after several bell rings
hndi p din tinatawag si johnclea (name ng boat namin)
we started thinking...
na scam tayo!!
OMG!!!

but wala pa naman 9:20
nakailang dingdong n s terminal and
with every dingdong
nagtitinginan kami with our eyes wide opened
hoping its our turn na
then end up laughing pag hindi
its 9:15, wla pa din call for johnclea passengers

after a few minutes
"ding dong!!! all passengers of johnclea
leaving at 9:20am please proceed to gate-2"

tayo kami agad!!!
hehehehe

nasan n ang boat?
ayun p pala, parating p lang!

i was expecting it would be like
the other boat na nghihintay dun s pier
the superkat.
sabi nga pala ni ate un ang sakyan...
sabi din daw ni mara according to ae
pero syempre first time...

one by one
the passengers get aboard the boat
dun kmi naupo sa may window side...
first time ko sasakay sa ganun
first time to cross the sea
excited i was..

the boat started to sail...
first it was smooth
but in the middle, we started to feel the waves
a boy abt 4 vomits
girls on the other side screams
then laugh
a fat brat shouted, he was scared of the waves...
after an hour and a half
we finally reached the shore...

we are actually on the sand of PUERTO GALERA

i was thinking were the hell we are going to take a ride
that would bring us dun s pinareserve namin
its in talipanan, we are in white beach...

while signing up for our two way ticket
a small dusky woman approached us
"sir, mam, gusto nyo ng room? blah blah blah"
we followed the woman and see the place
it was good, few minutes walk from the beach
it was actually a foreigners rest house.

we had conversation first if we will take it or
go dun s el canonero where we have our reservation
then we decided to stay n lang sa white beach...
our reservation? we had it cancelled. hehehehe

then fixed our things
refreshed ourselves
applied spf 45 sunblock for all day protection
nice!!!
we went out for lunch

whoa dami tao!
we settled in a restaurant fronting the sea
pero dun kmi s medyo likod, hahahaha
we orderd, prawn, liempo, chicken, tilapia,
and 1.5 liters of coca-cola...

and we're full...

we go back to the house and change to our swim wear...
hahahaha
tamang shorts lang un...
the four of us, ae, sunny, bornats and me
went to the waters...
dolls walked around the place to shop...

we stayed there for hours
bornats and ae shared goggles
saw a school of fish
a slab, a paper and many other things,
na sila lang ang nakakita...
nyahahaha

fell in love with the place...

dinner came
we had it on another restaurant
we had BBQ, squids, red eggs and a pitcher of sprite
were full again
went back to our sweet humble home (for a day (",) )
we had ourselves refreshed...

then went back to the beach

whoa!!!
so crowded...

concert ng brownman revival and sugarfree
pero di kmi pumasok... hehehehe
we walked the stretch of the beach

had sanmig sa isang bar
na eventually eh
basta...
hahahaha
thats the secret of five...

then we went back to our house
had round of redhorse
before we went to sleep.

we planned to wake up at 5am to see sunrise...



april 29, '07

i woke up few min after 5,
everyone else was in coma...
hehehehe
then a wake up call rings outside
"whaaaaaaaaa!!! mama ko!!!"
daughter of the owner of the house is crying out loud
but good thing, she wakes us up all...

we had some coffee
and went out for breakfast
we had tapsilog, tosilog, porkchopsilog and tea

we went to the beach...

some had massage

some enjoyed banana boat

had fruit shakes

some got lucky, saw 50 bucks floating in water...

i had my tattoo...

then its lunch
we had kebab and chopsuey and a cola...

its 12:30, we have to dress up
our boat will leave at 1:45

on our way to the house
"uwi n b tayo?"
"bukas na lang"
"uwi n b tayo?"
"pag-isipan natin pag sa bahay n tayo"
"depende sa boat"

1:35 we said bye bye to our host
waited more than 20 min for the boat to arrive...

feeling the heat...

looking at the beach people while they roam around...

sailing away the shore...

sailing smoothly...

watching as the PORT OF GALLEON fades in the horizon...

an overnight is not enough...

but we are all filled with memories...

we had fun...

i think the experience triggered me to wait for another outing..

for another summer...

maybe bora, maybe bohol or any other place...

have to work...

but definitely...

we are going back with a vengeance.
