Well he's the first block one baby I ever got the chance to see personally...
(attention to gerard, maricar and ryan hehehehe)



Fifteen minutes after ten in the morning,
dumating ako sa Our Lady of Hope Parish
I was expecting there would be number of people inside na...
but the church was empty
even the usherettes were not around...

Kinausap ko yung mama sa labas (which turned out to be the sakristan)
"10:30 po ba ang first binyagan dito?"
"Meron special kanina 9am kaya lang namove ng 12nn kulang kasi ang ninang, ayaw pumayag ni father."
"ganun po ba?"
sa isip isip ko... kaiba to ah...
alam kaya nila dolls..
baka hanapin ni father si ninang MARAH...
anyways...
di naman cguro...
i was about to text DOLLIE when a GORGEOUS WOMAN arrived...

at dahan dahang inalis ang shade...

si ELENA pala

pumasok na kami sa loob nang church...
naupo sa tapat ng electric fan...
after several minutes dumating si JUN...
sabi nya nagdalawang isip sya kung si ELENA nga at si LEK yung nakaupo dun...
parang di daw kasi...
di ko na sasabihin kung bakit nya naisip na hindi kami yun...

and after a couple of minutes dumating na si MOMMY DOLLIE and BABY SONET
kasama syempre the rest of their family...

then one usherette approached mommy dollie...
they needed one ninong and one ninang para dun sa "panalangin ng bayan"...
well si len yung inabutan ni dollie so sya na ung sa ninang...
i tried to hand the "misalette" to Jun...
di naman nya kinuha...
o di ako na lang...
hehehehe

tayo kami ni elena
tinanong namin kung pano ba mangyayari kasi they wanted to have a pair of ninong/ninang for each babies...
there were 4 babies..
there were only three verses na dapat basahin...
sabi ng isang usherette...
ung isang verse sa ninang/ninong ng isang bata...
naisip ko sabay ba kami?
hmmmmm
so si elena na lang...
biglang sabi ng isang usherette (1) sa isang usherette (2)
"hindi sister, pwedeng tig isa na sila"
"teka tawagin natin si usherette 3, sya ang nag-assign eh"
sabi ni usherette 1 dapat daw bawat isang baby may sort of representative...
sabi ni usherette 2 si len ung first verse ako yung sa second so kailangang pa ng isa..
sabi namin ni len "magkasama po kami"
usherette 2: " ahh mag-asawa kayo..."
toink!
"hindi po, magkasama lang po kami"
usherette 1: "magkasama sila.."
usherette 2: "ahhh mag-asawa sila"
usherette 3: "pwede naman na sila na ung una at pangalawa hanap na lang ng isa"

so len and I have to sit away from netnet...

the rites was started...

nagsign ng CROSS si father sa noo ni netnet..

then langis...

then we gathered around netnet, binuhusan ni father yung ulo ni netnet...

behave si baby ha... di sya iyakin...

then the ceremony was ended with the parents making a vow for netnet as well as the ninongs and ninangs...

CARLO and MICHELLE were already there...

sabi ko sa church pa lang papunta sa reception...
dun na daw sila sa reception pupunta...

the four of us.. Len, Carlo, Michelle and me took a cab...
si JUN sinabay ni Sunny...
at syempre si bornats kasama ang family ni marycel...

When we arrive dun sa shangri-la...
wala pa ung bininyagan...
naupo kami sa pinakamagandang pwesto...
hehehehe...

jun and sunny's officemate joined us...
then bornats and marycel...
then after couple of minutes anjan na si budec and wifey IVY.

well honestly i was so hungry...
not because matagal ang serving but i just had noodles nung umaga...
tira nung pamangkin ko...
hehehehe
(sanay ako sa kanin sa umaga)

so paglapag ng soup...
kuha na agad...
paglapag ng java rice...
nagpaalam nako sa katabi ko...
"kuha nako ha"
then
dagdag ng dagdag ng pagkain...

men!

sogbu ako...

sarap ng food

sobrang dami...

hayyyyy...
sarrrappp!!!

nakalimutan na ang diet.....

well while eating...

nalaman ko din na gusto pala ni IVY pumunta sa bahay
dahil nacurious yata sya sa "Lilliput" description ni budec
which was originated from MIONG...

so after the ultimate lunch...
and the asaran even to the details ng souvenir na nakuha ko...
(maliit daw ung lamp sabi ni len)
(but honestly i like the imperfection, for me it should be made that way...)
hehehehe

IVY and Budec went to SM...
sabi ko uwi ako maaga kasi anniversary ng aking mga minamahal na magulang...
(di ko na blog ung part na un ha... hehehehe)

so dun... usap usap ulit...
talked about the outing and all...

then we said bye bye na to the Mangalus Family...
Jun, Len and I went to trinoma...
had some cups sa isang cafe...
talked about people na pwede pang makasama sa outing...
it turned out na iyon na lang talaga...

sad
but true...

the fact that it is really hard to pull us all back in sa simpleng kitakita...
well, i understand it perfectly...
(for some! hehehe)


we did a "roll call" and evaluated each one...

and the truth hurts...

it's not because we can't find time with the rest of the block but the fact that we're singles...

hahahahaha...

pero carry lang...



so there!

at the end of the day...
i guess for every kitakits or celebration like this...
we end up thinking when will be the next...


would we ever be the same block one?

other's might think. di na tayo bonded...

i guess we'll be if we don't care...

but some of us still do...

i might be wrong...
it might be "all of us still do!"

but i am happy that we have a living proof of the "bond" that i am talking...

may we all be able to give what they needed...
they will be way better than us...
