Antipolo-Bound Again

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY YIENNE!

It's Yienne's First Birthday and Blk 1's second get together for 2012. 

(yeah, you've read it right, just the second, unusual isn't it?)

Anyways, If I am not mistaken, we are all invited naman to the 1st Birthday of the 1st Child of the 1st Family. But it was just us (7) who came.

We are supposed to go to St. Luke's Hospital at The Fort to visit Sonet before going to Antipolo, fortunately he was discharged the same morning. So, instead of going to Taguig and have lunch there, we decided to meet in Megamall, 11 AM.

Jun and I were already there around 11AM. 

The Holies are just about to 'CHECK OUT' at St. Luke's.

The Prodigal Lass will meet us at 1PM.

We'll meet the Royal Couple in Antipolo.

From 11AM to 1PM. The then-bachelor and I just talked about anything, mostly about work. We both didn't have our breakfast because we want to be there on time.

Tiis-gutom till they arrived.

Before 1PM, the prodigal lass arrived and was surprised we haven't had our lunch yet.

Then a little later, the holies arrived, with little Sonet looking healthy and strong. It's as if he never stayed in the hospital for 3 days.

We finally had our lunch at Holy Cow.

No 'kamustahan' happened but the same old talks plus 'us' trying to get some gossip from the prodigal lass. But she was so quiet and reserved. Yeah! THAT is the word, RESERVED. (Maybe because she was engaged and is actually RESERVED FOR SOMEONE) hahaha labo ng association. But then again, the lass' eyes are twinkling whenever the fiancé and 'this' stuffs are being mentioned. So that said it all.

After lunch which is around 3PM, (The Birthday Party will start at 3 but we're still in Megamall) we were Antipolo-bound.

But before going, there were delaying tactics (mind you, there were LOTS of it, hahaha)

The holies lead us to the carpark. Sunny stopped at the black Vios.

Lek: "Uy bago toh ah!"

(The holies seemed to ignore my remark)

Jun: "Bago nga!"

Lek: "Uy bago toh ah!" (paulit ulit na lang sinabi)

So yeah, The Holies got a brand new car.

Solved ang problema namin ni Jun kung pano pupunta ng Gloria Heights.

So that's the reason pala why Sunny called one time asking for our address.

Gagawin pala kami character reference for this.

By the way, I just remembered Sunny telling me tsaka na nya sasabihin kung para saan ung info na hinihingi nya. All the while, I thought he's applying for a new job.

Well, I was wrong.

Bago kami nakamove-on sa bagong car nasa ortigas extension na kami and we are the first blk 1s who are privileged enough na makasakay dun.

So there, balik sa prodigal lass ang topic. We are eager to know how the proposal happened but she kept her mouth shut. She just said, she already posted it in Facebook.

So crazy as we were, we searched the said post.

And whoaah… there it was, posted last May.

(How come I missed that?)

So I read everything, even the comments in Bicolano.

But of course, laglagan happens. :)

 Around 4pm we were in Antipolo and met the Royal Couple. And hey! Mary Cel is pregnant! :D that's a good news!

No one knew how to get in Gloria Heights but we managed naman.

At the Fallaria's residence, there was a big bow of balloons with a big tarpaulin with the celebrant's cute smile (I should have taken a pic of that).

Meron lang 'maliit' na pagbabago sa bahay ng 1st Family. May second floor na sya.

Ooops, may third floor din pala. But wait there's more, there seemed to have a room on the attic.

So there, if I'm not mistaken, there stood a 3-storey mansion. There was a resort/hotel-like feel in their new house.

No exaggeration but it is really 'bongga'.

I commend the paintings hanged in every wall, (numbers of it actually) the floor where the celebration was being held looked like an 'Artist Nook'. 

So there, we meet the First couple. Di pa namen nakita si Yienne.

Pinauna na kami ni Marah sa buffet. haha

We were first in line, meaning medyo we have a fair share, if not the best share, of the lechon. :D

We found our table on the second floor veranda.

Then a little later, bumaba dun ang holy family with the little celebrant.

Terno si Mommy and Baby, si Daddy di namen alam bakit di nakiterno.. hahahaha

Actually, we did eat and run.

hahahaha

We stayed at the party for about an hour lang.

We said bye bye with the 1st family. But of course, before that we were given CUPCAKES. :D

I think, kami ulet una nagkaroon kasi people were looking at us.

So there, from the party we decided to have coffee first para naman 'DAW' may kapartner ang mga cupcakes.

We decided to go to Starbucks, but us being the best in geography back in the day, di namen alam pano pumunta dun.

Then after driving aimlessly, we spotted a tea house called INFINI TEA.

So there, ordered drinks for 7.

Continued with the usual talks.

Planned about going to Boracay (which is actually around 5 years in planning).

But I think this will push through na next year.

We all agreed to give reality to this. We will go to Boracay.

So first things first,

I need to know who are interested.

Of course, the usual guys I always had the chance to meet and bond with are going.

For those who are abroad, We know, if you guys were here, di na kayo mahirap yayain.

For those who are here in Pinas, Say if you are interested.

We plan to go there kung kelan possible makauwi ang mga nasa abroad ng sabay sabay.

Don't get me wrong ha. papa book na kasi as soon as possible. as soon as maconfirm ung schedule nung nasa abroad.

the earlier the better

then, when the schedule was set,

we will file our VLs.

but before that.

Kita kits this sunday, september 30 dinner time at ortigas, tentatively at Mozu, Linden Suites.
